Lunar New Year Clearing: Egg Limpias

A day of clearings with Koyoltzintli

To honor the Lunar New Year, Spiral Mirror will be open for special Monday hours (12-6pm) and artist and curandera Koyoltzintli will be offering an afternoon of Egg Clearings (Limpia con Huevo), a practice passed down to her by her mother and grandmother.

An egg clearing is a traditional cleansing ritual used in many Indigenous and Latin American healing practices. A whole raw egg is gently passed over the body to absorb stagnant or heavy energy, emotional residue, and energetic blockages. The ritual is performed with intention, prayer, and care, creating a space for release and energetic reset.

The session concludes with a brief reading of the cracked egg, steps to take depending on what comes up in the egg, and a moment of integration.

Sessions will be approximately 20 minutes. Book in advance to secure your reading. Everyone is welcome, including children.

Raised in the Pacific South and the Andean Mountains in present day Ecuador, through her artistic and spiritual pursuits, she has weaved a unique journey. She has lived in the rainforest and the Andes, learning plant medicine and energetic/soul healing for decades. She is a practitioner of curanderismo, and divines through shells.
