In this workshop, we’ll explore pleasure not just as sexual, but as the inner felt sense of what is good, nourishing, playful, and alive in our bodies. Through embodied practices, movement, and heart-centered connection, we’ll notice the stories and conditioning that keep us far from our pleasure, reconnect with what feels good, and practice de-shaming pleasure as a natural doorway into aliveness, wholeness, and joy.

In order to escape the Matrix and experience an authentic connection with reality, there are underlying universal laws we can learn to apply to rebirth ourselves and our engagement with the world. Through a mix of exercises, meditation, and group connection, we will delve deeper into feeling and embodying these laws, as well as using them to liberate ourselves. The Healing Hours is a three-way collaboration between the YWCA Ulster County, The Wellness Empowerment Center at People’s Place, and Spiral Mirror to bring free holistic and metaphysical healing sessions to the community.

This is a group for anyone that wishes to explore and ultimately befriend and soothe the shadow. To move from a loop into an evolutionary spiral. To integrate the parts we have disowned and find our way to change and making different choices. Through emotional investigation, energetic exercises, and group interaction, we will all go beneath the behaviors to explore the roots that inform them and embody the medicine offered by our collective shadow.
