When Dan and Corinna met for the first time in 2015, by the end of the night, their conversation led to dreaming of putting on underground movie screenings. Spiral Cinema is that dream come to life: a series of movies that portray spiritual or metaphysical journeys.

For October, this is a different kind of horror film. Less of the jump scares and murderers and more along the lines of real fear in life: living without knowing who you are. Vanilla Sky tells this story: being lost in the world and having the illusion shattered. In other words, awakening to the truth of reality. So, maybe it begins as a nightmare and ends with “living the dream”.

There will be time afterwards to share reflections about the movie.
