When Dan and Corinna met for the first time in 2015, by the end of the night, their conversation led to dreaming of putting on underground movie screenings. To kick off our weekend celebrating Spiral Mirror’s one year anniversary, we’ve decided to bring that dream to life and begin a series of movies that portray spiritual or metaphysical journeys. First up is Office Space.

Office Space tells the story of Peter Gibbons, a disgruntled employee who undergoes a hypnotherapy session that alters his outlook and approach to life and work. Released in 1999, just six weeks before The Matrix, Office Space works like a comedic expression of a similar theme: self-realization and the journey of breaking free from a limited sense of reality.
